About     Me

byf.     No DNI. Anything mentioned here is for you to curate your experience and block or avoid me me if you so choose. If something here doesn't align with your values, block me idc. I don't deal with preaching or shit. I enjoy problematic content, media, and villainous characters. I don't owe anyone explanations, nor will I interact with people who harass others for this. I also block harry potter stans ( who refuse to acknowledge the racist, transphobic, etc views of JKR that have seeped into her work ), Phoebe Tonkin, Dove Cameron, & Ben Barnes stans. Curate your own experience by not interacting & blocking me if you have to. I selfship so basically my oc is just me in different universes, so DNI if that makes you uncomfortable. I write in third person POV, present tense, and don't roleplay with anyone who uses first person POV.

I'm not here to babysit, so if you don't have the maturity to respect my boundaries, don't bother with interacting at all, as I'll just block you anyway. Especially if you're considered an "anti" of any kind; there will be fucked up and immoral shit here, you have been warned.    sidenote.     I'm blind as hell, so if you use a small text aesthetic, I will be very wary about you. Lowercase is fine, as I use it, but small text is virtually unreadable for me.

Roleplay     Rules

notes.     My ocs tend to get into some serious stuff such as addiction of various kinds ( alcohol & nicotine are the most prominent ); as this is integral to their character, I don't like removing it, so if that's something that makes you uncomfortable, probably don't interact with me! Otherwise, triggers and the like will be noted at the top their blurb. also, i'll say it outright i love problematic pairings and characters; don't judge me, because i won't deal with preaching and shit. block me, vent to your friends about me, cancel me, i really do not give two shits lol. but don't expect to push your pearl clutching, puritan values on me because i believe in "ship and let ship." yes, even for problematic and toxic ships. if you need to ask what i mean by that, uhh you probs don't belong here. For the record, I do have a lot going on in my brain, so if you find that I'm no longer interested in a roleplay, it's probably not anything to do with you or how you write; my interests change a lot, and I'm prone to dropping roleplays when a series doesn't interest me any more. I may even take breaks if I like the roleplay enough, but otherwise, it's nothing personal. Above all else, I will communicate with you as best as I can ( unless you give off bad vibes ).

    01.     I'm tenuous on doubling in general, even for fandom roleplays; I realise that's the norm, but I don't really care? If you want to double, run it by me and I'll think about it, considering on the pairing and your OC. Please note that I have to vibe with the chosen love interest, the OC, & their relationship in order to double for series roleplays. I do not double for original roleplays. Equally, I will write any pairing for my partner but I prefer NBLM for my side; I only do nblm for original roleplays. In the case of love triangles, I do not mind writing them for my partner, but my side will be a polyamorous relationship.    02.     I have no triggers, but I will not write plots involving pregnancy or cheating on my characters; I may write plots that involve them cheating on their shitty current s/o with the chosen love interest, however. I love dark themes and will include them in my roleplays unless you mention you to avoid them. Unless it has something to do with your triggers, which I will respect. I do not usually roleplay smut, but ask about it as it varies with my mood.    03.     I don't roleplay with anyone using the following faceclaims: Phoebe Tonkin ( Shitty behaviour toward fans, among other reasons )    β”†    Ben Barnes ( Racist apologist )    β”†    Dove Cameron ( Heavily implied depression and such mental illnesses are a choice )    β”†    Nina Dobrev ( She just doesn't vibe with me ).

    04.     I generally don't have proper character sheets and heavily prefer blurbs; it's not necessary for you to do the same. I more or less use the same character anyway, so don't be surprised if you see him around a lot; re-writing his information to fit a specific fandom over and over gets exhausting, but I will include any changes per universe in his blurbs.    05.     I don't request that my partners write a specific amount, as I tend to be very flexible with my post sizes; I usually write anywhere from 200-600 words on average, though I am fully capable of writing more. Because writing the same size posts over and over again can get repetitive and exhausting, I don't mind ( and would prefer ) to keep them varied as there's really no need to reach a specific word count with me, even if my post is on the longer side. As long as there is something to reply to, then it's fine with me. If you're prone to padding your posts to meet a certain word count or expect the same, dni.    06.     I heavily request communication from my partners. If you're going to take a while to respond, let me know; if it's an emergency, I understand, but otherwise radio silence will only net you a block and dropping of the roleplay. Include a fox gif in messages asking about roleplay. I try to let my partners know when I'm no longer interested, but sometimes I can be prone to just blocking and ghosting. Generally, I don't care if you do the same, but otherwise, communication is a must.

    ROLEPLAY     INTERESTS

notes.     I generally don't like playing whichever love interests are listed for others; I understand sometimes it's unavoidable. If we share love interests, you can still list them when contacting me and I'll generally tell you if I will / won't play them. Additionally, this is not an exhaustive list; if you link me your fandom interests, I'll likely find some overlap between us and point it out. Otherwise, you can ask and I'll let you know if i've heard of it.

Word counter tells me approx. line count, but it may not be accurate if counted manually on a different device. If it were up to the fox, he wouldn't be here. This situation didn't suit him, particularly not when it came to the dingy environment; not with the contingency of his fur getting disheveled and crummy, not when he prized it above all else. And yet, he'd already found that he didn't have a choice in the matter, as there were no other sorcerers to take on the job. Granted, he didn't consider himself as much, but the point still stood; he wasn't going to let whatever this curse be an obstacle, not when his apartment building was just down the street β€” no doubt it would go looking for powerful opponents during its run amok and discover him anyway, so this was just cutting out a lot of time. And cutting into his schedule, as well. Ugh, he detested this.A sigh escaped him as he brushed a hand through his hair, pushing it back from his face β€” he needed a haircut. Maybe that's what he'd do with the money he'd get from this gig. Granted, he liked his hair, because like his fur, it intended to be rather fluffy and sleek. But even so, sometimes it got too long for him to manage, and he thought it best to chop it all off and start over again β€” especially since it was unruly at the best of times, and tangled at the worst. Yeah, a haircut might be worth the money, especially if he could see his usual stylist, who'd no doubt give him a discount for his repeated visits. Sparse as they were.Alright, new goal in mind! Time to purge this curse. Slipping into the alley beside the building, he made quick work of finding an access point through a shattered window β€” product of urban exploration, maybe? Either way, it was definitely useful to him. With a keen nose, finding the curse now would be so easy he might as well just pass the job off to some loser sorcerers, but he obviously wouldn't at this stage. For him, this was too invested already, and he intended to see it through to the end now. As he inspected the lowest floor, he wondered what he'd do with the rest of the money β€” he could do anything, really... with nothing and no one able to stop him. Maybe contact some old friends to see if they had any ' merchandise ' that might interest him.All this hinged on the idea of him being able to eventually encounter the curse... He knew it was in the building, but with four floors and only one of him, it would be a difficult affair. After that, getting his innate technique to kick in before he died would be the next issue; his technique was tumultuous at best, with a notion of not working whenever he needed it to. ... Shit, he better hope it works, 'cause if it doesn't, then he's definitely screwed. Might as well just lay down and die at that point... Eh, but well, he was a bit too stubborn, he supposed, to do anything like that. Maybe if he were younger, then he would just put up with whatever was thrown at him, but not these days; as an adult, the fox made a life for himself that was all his own, built from the ground up with calloused hands. And now he possessed a certain fearlessness that would stand up to anything that the world would throw at him β€” wearing an aloof expression and having a cold nature, hardened by the events that shaped his life thus far. That just made this situation perfect for him, who didn't feel an ounce of fear toward anything β€” who would laugh in the face of danger because it excited him, not because it scared him. His reaction to everything after leaving his homeland was to fight β€” he wasn't the type to freeze or fawn when he was put into a situation that could be deadly for him, but rather he'd fight against anything and everything for his continued existence. Some might argue that it made him stubborn, which may very well have been true β€” imagine... him, too stubborn to die? Yeah, that made sense. Though he supposed it was more like that he was too stubborn to let anyone else kill him; if he were going to meet his downfall, it would be at his own hands.A brow rose as his ears picked up on a sound in the distance, maybe a floor or so above him? Ah, so that's where you are... As he chased the source of the noise on deft, yet quiet feet, he vaguely wondered if it were possible to beat fear into something; curses didn't feel things like that, but he'd like to think that he could make them fear something. Surely they felt some way about dying? Being exorcised, whatever one wanted to call it. Maybe they'd even feel something about meeting face to face with the creature hunting them β€” he who was human, yet didn't look an ounce like one.An anomaly, for lack of a better term, with not much known about him that he, himself, didn't make known. A curse user, a mercenary... Something human, yet something not. A creature of myth, in many ways, yet some might assume the fur adorning his body, his ears and his tails might be some sort of costume. But no, he was a product of his parents' poor decisions and scientific curiosity β€” human and not. He wasn't something unique, he knew that by now, but that didn't change the feeling of utterly exile he felt from humans. It was for their whole existence he had to hide parts of himself that would have them asking questions; a hat for his ears, and his tails tucked away beneath his greatcoat. He supposed he turned out to be relatively similar to humans, or otherwise he might not be where he is now.Not like he wanted to be here either... But at least he was far away from any further experimentation.Another sigh as he came upon the spot he thought he'd heard the noise from earlier β€” it was empty, which meant the curse was either on the move or was hiding from him. Plucking his hat from his head, his ears stuck straight up to listen closely for any sudden noises β€” swivelling toward any noise in his vicinity. Humans speaking outside... a dog barking in the distance β€” he hated those creatures β€” and...Ah... "Found yo~u," he mused aloud as he carried on down the hallway, stopping in his tracks at what he could only describe as the sound of slime prying itself from some surface it was stuck to. A gushing noise that made him cringe, and his stomach turned. Ugh, gross. Don't tell him he'd have to get his fur dirty after all... His stylist was not going to like this.He shoved the door open with some reluctance, stepping to the side to avoid being seen by the curse. Peering around the corner, he watched the curse as it faced away from him, a giant ball of green slime oozing onto every surface it touched as it rolled into an open doorway at the other end of the room. Probably a storage closet, if he could guess what he was seeing from the angle. Still gross. And he still despised this β€” just even more now that he knew what he would be facing. He wanted variety, but this was not what he meant.Evaluating the situation in his mind, he considered the options at hand. Ugh, this was terrible for his psyche, but he knew it was almost unavoidable now. Right, now... What could be done about this? He could easily just relegate this to some low level sorcerers, but ugh, then he wouldn't get anything for the tasks he'd been wanting to take care of. So that meant it was time for him to step up and get rid of it himself. Right, but how... The periodic drip of slime hitting the floor did not make thinking easy, not when his keen ears were picking up every squelch and gush of slime. Gross!Okay, first... He needed to provoke the curse. From there, he could lure it to a more open area... Oh, that's brilliant! Excellent thinking. It started with him rapping his knuckles against the wall, catching the slime curse's attention, which lead to him snatching a piece of rebar glinting in the room across the way; he made a mad dash down the hall, dragging the metal across the wall to exaggerate the noise he wanted to make, leading the slime toward the courtyard on the lowest floor. It would be as much space as he could get, even though he would normally prefer β€” and even required, in some cases β€” much more. This just got a whole lot more exhilarating, he thought as the curse advanced on him, rolling faster the further it travelled. The sudden corner gave him some space, allowing him to breathe easier as the chase continued. The final confrontation would be what mattered, but if he couldn't even get to that point... His pace gradually increased with his focus, now having only that goal in mind β€” reducing the steps taken with a lunge forward every other step, landing on his paws with his claws scratching up the floor beneath him. He didn't mean to get so caught up in his thoughts, but it was virtually impossible for him to not flashback to when he was a child, running away from an older brother who, at a distance, looked like he was just playing when he uttered, I'll get you, brat.It couldn't be further from the truth. Ever since that night, there existed an aspiration for him to be better β€” stronger, faster... everything that his brother wasn't. Sure, his brother was only human, and he was, by all means, better than him in many ways, but as a child, things like that were... horrifying. The case reached its precipice with the fox hitting a dead-end in the form of the railing leading down several floors below. The slime gained on him. An abstract thought of jumping and hitting the ground, bouncing, and then splattering, filled his head briefly, before he made the choice to take his chances. Expertly angling himself so that he'd land for the dead tree in the centre, hopefully able to grasp onto the large, strong-looking branch to catch himself. It would hurt, of course, if he popped a limb out of the socket, but he could always fix that β€” he couldn't fix death. And then he jumped. It may have been ambitious for him to think he could make the jump, but even so, he did at least put that distance between himself and the curse. Even though he'd ended up latching onto one of the hanging lamps with a cord threatening to snap due to his added weight β€” his piece of rebar hitting the dead grass below. He should've known it would be impossible. But now he had to find something to jump to β€” and fast, before the cord gave way.Eyes scanning the courtyard, he spotted a piece of railing sticking out β€” likely due to the building collapsing on itself, but it looked like it could hold his weight for a little bit, anyway. His eyes darted up to check the curse as it tried rolling between the wall and railing, each little slam of its slime sending bits of itself flying into the air. Please don't get in my fur... He mentally begged while returning focus to the task at hand. He swung his legs forward, then back, gradually building up momentum until the cord sounded like it was finally about to give...He grasped the railing across the way, breathing heavily while one of his hands slipped on the sleek metal. With a burst of strength, he hefted himself up and over the railing of the second floor. And his parents called him audacious... At least that attitude had bought himself some time while the slime continued to batter against the concrete of the top floor, seeking a way down toward him β€” thus far, the encounter hadn't been boring, that's for sure. But that was enough, he wasn't going to condone much more stupidity from this low level spirit, not when he could certainly find something better β€” something more daunting. As the slime finally broke through, rolling itself right on down to the courtyard, the fox stood to watch it as it rolled to look up at him. Oh fuck that, it had eyes. That knowledge did nothing to exacerbate the exhaustion filling the fox's body β€” in fact, it did the exact opposite. Now that he knew it could see, he knew it would likely be able to keep up with him β€” visually, anyway. Maybe it would turn out to be quite formidable after all. For others, anyway.A haughty smirk formed on his face as an idea formed in his head. So all he'd have to do is... He'd have to be pretty leery about his strategy, however, as he still wanted to keep as much distance between him and that slime as possible. He didn't have a myriad of options, not like what he was used to. But those that he did have would be onerous, even the most simplistic of the lot. Quite frankly, he was partial to only two strands of thinking: the most nefarious or the easiest. And what nefarious thing could he possibly to do a giant ball of slime? Well, maybe he could dry it out or something... but that would take too long. And even though he was a fox, he might as well also be the quintessential pragmatist β€” if a bit pedantic as well β€” than one might expect from him. He didn't like to be flashy. No doubt any plan he went through would go off without a hitch due to his strategic nature, so he supposed he shouldn't jeopardise the time he had to act. He took a breath, mentally preparing himself for the fall...Except it never happened. Not for any fear that he had, but simply because when he opened his eyes, the curse had disappeared. That... wasn't right β€” it couldn't be right. How could a giant slimeball just vanish in such a short amount of time?Eyes narrowing, he lowered himself to grab the metal beneath his feet, swinging himself to the lower floor. He turned, peering over the railing...Just in time to see a flash of pink in his vision before that too disappeared with a vile laugh. What was that?First his curse practically disintegrated during the few seconds it took to close his eyes, and now he was seeing things. Just fantastic. After searching for another way to lower himself to the ground floor, the fox swung his legs over the railing to inch himself as close to the grass as he could before letting himself down. It wasn't too far a fall, allowing him to land safely on his feet with little difficulty.Hah? Oh, don't tell me that's the curse speaking... Nope! As the fox turned to face the source of the noise, his ears poised forward, he found himself face to face with... no, he wasn't human. Not in the slightest. That much he could sense. Even so, he showed that same fearlessness as he was used to. "Hah? What are you saying to me?" He inquired with a quirked brow, arms crossing. "Neither you nor that curse scare me. If anything, you just ruined my chances to get paid... dammit." Sighing as the realisation struck him, he put a hand to his head. Shit, he really was out some money now..."So what now, huh?" Forgive him for seeming a bit irritable with that knowledge repeating in his head. "I'll fight you too and call this entire thing quits, so if you want to go, let's go β€” square up." Sure, he hated the idea that he had a target he didn't know fuckall about, but he had some frustrations to vent, and hopefully if he won, he'd be able to get paid anyway.
